Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept payment by both credit and debit cards.
We accept Switch, Delta, Visa and MasterCard.
When you receive confirmation of your order, this is only an indication that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the event that a mistake has been made in pricing, where we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product. In the case of a price increase, we will always contact you first to ensure that the revised price is acceptable.
You certify that you have the copyright rights necessary for reproduction of any pictures you provide. You provide the right to us to reproduce the painting and any original photo on our website and for the purposes of promotion.
Shipping And Handling
Charges for delivery are not included in the stated product price - see Delivery for details of applicable charges. Every product on this site is delivered by our standard service in the UK mainland (excluding the Scottish Highlands, islands or Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man and Channel islands.) unless you select a different delivery option at the checkout.
All orders are shipped within 14 to 28 days from the date of order. We will notify you od the delivery date once to order is received.
Paintings are shipped by courier and are usually in transit for 4/ 5 days. A tracing number will be sent to you once your painting is shipped so that you can track your parcel's progress. All delivery addresses will be copied as per the customer input. If the carrier or post cannot deliver because of incorrect address then we reserve the right to charge an additional supplement.
It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the delivery or carrier consignment note. If you suspect that there are items missing from delivery, first check that the order has not been partly shipped. Any shortage must be noted on the delivery note and we are to be notified within 24 hours.
Notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 24 hours of delivery. If the items are not what you ordered, you must not open the manufactures packaging or use the item. It is your responsibility to notify us.
We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 2 days from expected delivery date.
We shall accept no liability fro shortages, non deliveries, incorrect goods or damaged on delivery outside the stated time scales. Except when extenuating circumstances have prevented the notification within the stated time scale.
Tax Charges
VAT at the standard rate of 17.5% will be added to all orders. Goods that are dispatched to addresses outside of the European Union are generally not subject to EU VAT. When ordering goods from Bern Digital for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our bankers' computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.

Bern Digital Limited does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:

Returns Policy
Within 28 days of receipt:
Damaged goods:
Please try to check your delivery on receipt. If signing for goods that are damaged please sign as "damaged", or "unchecked" if you're not able to check at the time of delivery.
In the unlikely event your order is received damaged please contact us immediately. Please retain the original packaging for returning your order. Contact us with your Bern Digital order number and with details of the problem and from where and when the returned parcel can be conveniently collected. We will arrange to replace or refund your order, whichever your preference.
Unwanted goods:
Within 7 days of receipt.
Provided your purchase remains unused and 'as new' unopened with and s intact we will accept the product back for a full refund up to 7 days after purchase without question. This refund does not extend to the cost of delivery or return and your product will need to be inspected before reimbursement.
We will process a refund by the same means that the goods were purchased, less a 5% handling charge to cover our re-stocking, administration and carriage costs. If you prefer to exchange your returned goods for an alternative product to the same or higher value, we may waive the handling charge.
It is your responsibility to ensure the products are securely packaged.
